Evening and Weekend appointments - Have your say.

Your local NHS is seeking your views about the best times and locations for GP (doctor) and nurse appointments in the evenings and weekends.

Nationally the NHS has asked local practices to review the times to provide appointments at evenings and weekends. We want to capture information to support decision-making and make sure we are providing times, and locations that meet the needs of local people.

We are holding a webinar on the 11th July at 7pm to obtain the thoughts of our patients.  Please click the following link to register for the event.  https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/377165330657

Covid Passes and Recovery Letters

https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/covid-pass/get-your-covid-pass-letter/

Anybody needing to demonstrate your COVID 19 status, will need to get a NHS COVID Pass letter. This is not a document which the surgery can provide. Please call 119 and option 3 or https://www.gov.uk/guidance/nhs-covid-pass to apply online.

We do not provide covid recovery letters for travel. We can provide a copy of your positive result if necessary.

Peer Support Groups

We would like to offer you this online Peer support group coordinated by our social prescriber. We will be inviting patients from the local community to join. It will be a friendly and open platform to discuss all anxieties, concerns and an opportunity to talk to other people. It can be utilised as a social group as it is understood that isolation has caused feelings of loneliness for those of all ages.

What we will talk about is up to you! This will be a safe space and what we discuss will be kept confidential.

The session will be held through zoom and run for approximately 1.5 hours.

During the session you will have a chance to ask questions and learn how to:

  • Recognising symptoms of anxiety, low mood and stress and what affects our moods
  • Tips for keeping well during difficult times such as the pandemic
  • Brief relaxation practice
  • Suggestions of resources for further support
